Graduating from Trinity University with a double-major in Theatre and Sociology, I have been a life-long theatre-maker. Currently, I am teaching 5th grade English-a profession that has only reiterated to me the importance of accessible theatre for all ages. It has also stretched my improvisational skills in unexpected ways. Ultimately my aspiration is to be employed as a theatrical director. I have already begun this journey by directing two full length pieces while at Trinity University: Do You Feel Anger? By Mara Nelson-Greenberg and Life x 3 by Yasmina Reza. When not directing-I worked as stage manager for the Theatre Department juggling several roles. After receiving Outstanding Senior in Theatre, this past year I have assistant directed Jersey Boys at the San Pedro Playhouse under Dr. Nathan Stith.

I pride myself on being able to work with all sorts of people with compassion and clear communication. As much as I enjoy a well-thought through plan of action, on the fly changes are almost inevitable and making quick decisions to move forward is something well-honed by stage management.

Favorite Genres: Absurdity, Horror, Camp, Satire, Tragedy, Existentialism and Postmodernism. That being said-who does not love a good Much Ado About Nothing or a Sondhiem musical?
